Thank you all for an amazing August! I definitely felt the love. Still feeling like the luckiest person ever, getting to do what makes my heart happy and doing it with all of you.
Of course I went straight from August to the it's almost the Holidays panic as I do each year. So I spent September buying and cleaning and making lists.

I also just got a wonderful group of rings from NYC which just hit the showcases.
I have been spending as much time as I can doing my very favourite thing, making my recycled line of necklaces and bracelets. I started Ancient Influences when I was in my 20's (decades ago). I couldn't afford much and I was, and still am, obsessed with repurposing things and creating beauty from items others thought had no more purpose. I love to make chains from bits and pieces adding just the right jump ring or clasp. I pour over my trays of findings and lengths of chain and let the pieces speak to me. I will find a fabulous spring ring in the shape of a dragon and that one piece will inform the entire design of the necklace. I also love charms and fobs and lovingly worn lockets. My chains are all made to attach things to, a sliding swiveling watch hook, a 19th century split ring or a massive spring ring, this allows the customer to comb the trays of fobs and charms and bits I have collected and create something that speaks to them.
Carley has been working away on her gorgeous hand crafted line of jewels brunet. The collection has bold and delicate Earrings, Bracelets, and Necklaces all made with ethically sourced and recycled pieces. She is always happy to modify a piece for you to get just the right length.
