An early Navajo sand cast ring. The minty green turquoise is bezel set in a coin silver ring, with an elongated shape and open shoulders. Sand cast silver has a fabulous organic texture and an appealing weight. The turquoise shows a great deal of wear. Circa 1940.

The top of the ring measures 16.9mm by 27.6mm and the band is 2mm wide. In Good Vintage Condition, the turquoise is very worn.
