Fabulous Choker, Bracelet & Earring Set Signed Margot de Taxco

This fabulous necklace, bracelet, and earring set was made by the important artist Margot de Taxco. The bracelet and choker-length necklace are composed of a series of sterling silver panels, sculpted with graceful flourishes and beading that recall Pre-Columbian design. The screw back earrings are each a single one of these elegant panels. The necklace and bracelet clasp with a hidden slide clasp and the bracelet has a security chain. It's so exciting to find such a highly collectible set with all pieces intact. Circa 1950.

Signed on the back "Margot de Taxco," "Sterling Made in Mexico," and with the Mexican eagle sterling mark. It is also marked with the design number 5778. Margot de Taxco designs were numbered 5100 to 5790, so this is her 678th design.

Details.....The necklace is 15" long, the bracelet is 7.5" long, and they are both 0.48" wide. The earrings measure 0.92" by 0.48". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
